All reverse osmosis systems will develop a biofilm. A scheduled biocide dosing will properly control differential pressures and cleaning frequencies. The most common types of Biocide are isothiazoline and DPNPA.
Description:
This is an isothiazolon based non oxidizing RO disinfectant. This is a 1.5% active product that can be dosed for about 4 hours at a feed rate of 50 - 100 ppm. Isothiazolin has longer contact time then DBNPA.
